A Gin Worth Sharing
What's in a Name?

Named after the stunning 5 Mile Bay, Taupō, Aotearoa New Zealand. Where many a long summer afternoon has been spent on the beach with freinds and family drinking Gin and Tonics.

The Process

Our Gin is small batch distilled and by small batch we mean 50L stills. We use a combination of maceration and vapour infusion to get the best out of each botanical. After distillation it is reduced down to our bottling strength of 43%ABV (alcohol by volume) with Tongariro Water from National Park next to Mt Ruapehu. Which is allowed to marry before bottling.

The Botanicals

We source New Zealand produced botanicals if possible, other wise they have to come from overseas. The botanicals are Juniper Berries, Coriander Seeds, Angelica Root, Cassia Bark, Walnuts, Dried Lime Peel, Green Peppercorns, and Green Cardamom Pods.
